Ramanujar (also known as Ramanujacharya or Sri Ramanuja) was a preeminent Indian Hindu philosopher, social reformer, and the chief proponent of the Vishishtadvaita (Qualified Non-Dualism) school of Vedanta. He is revered as the most significant acharya in the Sri Vaishnavism tradition and played a pivotal role in the Bhakti movement by providing an intellectual foundation for devotional worship.
